📚 Calling All Bible Teachers! Let's Collaborate! 🙌
Hey there, fellow Bible teachers! 📖
You know the Bible Teaching journey can be both exhilarating and challenging. But fear not, because I've got an exciting proposition that's tailor-made for you.
Have you ever wished for a community of like-minded women Bible teachers to share ideas, questions, and insights? Well, you're not alone! 🌟
Many of you have expressed the desire to connect with fellow Bible teachers, and the time has come to turn that longing into reality.
Introducing Women Teach the Word's Exposition Coalition. (Shoutout to Emily Nelson for her incredible rhyming skills).
This is our Bible teacher's collaborative — your one-stop hub for encouragement, learning, and camaraderie. 🎉
Whether you're already steering a thriving ministry ship or finding your sea legs in an existing program, this space is for you.
Here's how we're kicking off:
My buddy Rachel (you'll meet her soon) and I distilled the art of launching a thriving women's Bible teaching ministry into seven essential steps. I'll share them below.
Here's your task:
(1) If you're interested in meeting other Bible Teachers, introduce yourself.
(2) Examine the seven steps and let us know which steps you and your church (or gathering) have already taken.
(3) Let us know which step you're currently working on and how we can help! If you've got any questions, share them! (Note: These may end up being a YouTube video).
Your Step-by-Step Blueprint to Thriving Teaching Ministry
(These steps are not necessarily in order):
- Seek Pastoral Guidance and Approval: Offer your assistance to your pastor or church leadership, expressing your passion for fostering a healthy women's teaching ministry.
- Define Standards and Requirements: Together, establish clear criteria that outline the qualities of effective teachers in partnership with your church's values.
- Choose Exposition as Your Approach: Recognize the transformative power of biblical exposition and commit to this specific teaching approach.
- Learn the Art of Biblical Exposition: Immerse yourself in the study of biblical exposition (I realize this step is never "complete," but you know what I mean).
- Make Room: Facilitate space in your local church for women Bible teachers.
- Teach: Engage in hands-on teaching experiences, leading expositional study sessions both individually and as part of a team.
- Impact Through Reproduction: Create a culture of mentorship and discipleship so you can raise up women to teach the Word faithfully.
