For years, between teaching in underground house churches overseas and teaching in our local churches in the U.S., we kept running into the same women. They loved God. They loved their students. They loved the Word.

But no one had ever given them a dependable, repeatable method to teach it with accuracy and confidence.

Some stopped teaching altogether. Some taught anyway, but never quite sure. Most just leaned on study Bible notes and commentaries, handing their students someone else's gold because they didn't know how to dig for their own.

It wasn't their fault. They didn't have a roadmap.

We had the privilege of going to seminary to get the roadmap we needed. Most women don't. The tuition is out of reach. The time isn't there.

They don't need the degree, they just need the training.

So we partnered together to record the course we wish someone had given us when we started teaching. A full seminary-level class in hermeneutics and homiletics (fancy words for accurate Bible study and faithful Bible teaching), built around what we call the Encounter Method: a way of studying the Bible that doesn't just help women hear the truths of Scripture, but encounter God in His Word.

And we made it free. Because it should be.

As complementarians, we believe women Bible teachers are an essential part of God's plan to strengthen the church and reach the nations.

Women Teach the Word exists to give every one of them the roadmap she needs to teach the Bible with accuracy and confidence.
